Clickbank is a third party site that connects digital product creators and affiliates. Digital product creators list their software, ebooks or audio/video courses on the Clickbank marketplace. For a onetime fee, they can list their product and be connected with thousands of affiliates who want to promote their product. They determine the selling price of the product and what percentage of that sales price will be paid to affiliates.
One of the reasons that Clickbank is such a popular affiliate network is because it is so secure. Product creators know that the transactions on Clickbank will be safe and so they feel comfortable listing their products there. Affiliate marketing is a win-win situation for both parties. The product owner only pays his affiliates if they make a sale.
