Succeed at Making Money Online: Jump at Opportunities
If you are having problems with making money online and can’t seem to get started, you might need to take some advice from Ben Franklin. Although he died long before anyone even dreamed of making money online, his advice on the nature of success still applies today. One of my favorite pieces of advice is:
“To succeed, jump as quickly at opportunities as you do at conclusions.”
At first glance you may think that by applying his advice you’d be jumping from business opportunity to business opportunity and basically be spinning your wheels. On the contrary, jumping on opportunities is a sound strategy for success as long as you are jumping on the right opportunities.
Without jumping on opportunities, you’ll be stuck in a rut forever. Taking a leap and doing something is the only way to success because it is the only way you’ll change from your current situation to a brand new one. Without these jumps, you’ll really be spinning your wheels and getting nothing done.
There are a few contingencies that you need to add to Franklin’s advice. After all, he didn’t work in an industry where there were dozens of new opportunities being sent into your inbox each day. You have to be selective about your opportunities. You need to filter them through the lens of what is important to your current business model.
Before you can be ready to jump on an opportunity, you have to be prepared. You have to have your business system in place so you know exactly what you need and what you don’t need when it comes to making your business work. In fact, make a list of the resources that you need to reach the next level of your business. If a new tool, program or service comes your way that fits in line with your goals for your business…go for it if it makes sense for your position and skill level.
You also need to have the resources to take advantage of an opportunity. Make sure you have a budget for materials, tools and programs each month. Don’t go broke trying to buy the next big thing when you already have all of the tools you need. If it’s time and not money that needs to be put into this opportunity, make sure that you have budgeted the time that you need by using good time management strategies.
Finally, you need to bust through any negative self talk that may be holding you back from taking advantage of opportunities that will help you succeed. If you spend all day long telling yourself that your plan will never work, you’ll never be able to see the opportunity as it arises in front of you. Stay positive about your business so you can build it on a solid foundation.
With these contingencies, you can be sure that you are jumping to the right opportunities that fit your goals. You can break out of your current level of success and grow your business by leaps and bounds.

Learning to Write Well for Your Online Business the Benjamin Franklin Way
When it comes to communicating online, many people think that the rules have changed. Shorter attention spans, eye strain and a general overabundance of information online have lead to sloppy writing and poor article construction. If you are a small business owner or are developing an Internet marketing business, you’ll need to learn how to write for the web and write well.
If you feel your writing leaves something to be desired, don’t worry…you’re in good company. In (title of the paper or book this story is from), Benjamin Franklin shares a story of his quest to improve his writing style. Although his father commended him on his spelling and grammar, his style left much to be desired. Even though Franklin lived centuries before the Internet his own experience with learning to write well can help you present yourself better online.
In his account of improving his writing Franklin makes it clear that the mechanics of his writing were fine. He just needed improvement in his style. This shows that no matter what type of writing you are doing, style is important. Your blog posts, articles for back links and website text should all have a style all your own.
If you feel like you need to develop your style more completely, you can follow the same steps that Benjamin Franklin did in order to improve his style.
1. Read good writing.
Your mind is like a sponge. It will pick up whatever it is exposed to and store it for future use. Unless you spend a lot of time reading good writing, you’ll have no idea how to create writing with great style. Make it a habit to read articles and blog posts from well written people in your niche. Even better yet, start reading articles from trade magazines in your industry. A lot of poor writing gets passed off online, but with a full editorial staff most magazine articles have terrific style. Find a few short articles that inspire you and that you can use to improve your style.
2. Do writing exercises to mimic the style of the articles.
Once you’ve selected a few articles, try to rewrite them from memory. Read the articles several times and then rewrite them one at a time from memory. This will help you internalize the flow and the style of the writing. Do this several times to see how well you remember the article and mimic the style.
3. Correct your writing as needed.
The most important part of the process is to go back through the original article and see where you made mistakes. Maybe you left out an important point or didn’t handle a transition particularly well. The point is not to punish yourself or think badly about your writing. You just need to correct your writing to improve your style.
It may take you some time to develop a style of your own and improve your writing. But it will be well worth it when you can communicate well online.
Here is free report with a 5-step system used to create tiny reports that rake in thousands of dollars in profit every single month! Click HereThe Obama Proof Investment
As the economy continues to barely survive on life support, it seems like there are more and more calls for nationalized government programs. For example, in the spring of 2009 President Obama proposed a 2010 takeover of 401ks and the implementation of nationalized pension plans.
No matter what your politics are, losing the investments that you put into your 401K is no walk in the park. This proposed change to the national budget is just another example of the turbulent times we live in. There is a lot of change on the horizon which may be difficult for some people to accept. Just as the forefathers of this nation faced a lot of uncertainty, many people think that our nation is facing the same type of crisis.
It makes sense to look back to the forefathers’ wisdom when facing these uncertain times. Ben Franklin, the great statesmen and founder of the nation, would have one piece of advice to those who are worried that Obama will take away independent 401Ks:
“An investment in knowledge pays the best interest.”
If you are concerned about your investments, start investing in a place where the government can’t take it away. Education is the most powerful investment that you can make. Whether you are just starting out in your career or are facing retirement, you can make an investment in your own mind that will last a lifetime.
Education goes well beyond formal schooling. If you think that having a Master’s degree or PhD is what you need to make an investment in your mind, think again. Take Benjamin Franklin for example. He was well schooled in a variety of different subjects and always challenged himself to learn more. You should do the same.
Take it upon yourself to become more educated on subjects that interest you. Learn the secrets of managing money wisely from experts. Teach yourself how to cook your favorite meals at home. Become well versed in literary classics. Whatever you choose, your time will be well spent because you’ll be enriching your life and creating more wealth of experience for yourself and those around you.
One of the best ways to increase your education and create a sense of financial freedom is to invest in learning about owning your own business. Learning the skills you need to own your own business and taking steps toward creating a supplemental or full time income for yourself is one of the best investments of your time and money. Although you can definitely spend your time learning about anything that you want, you will be well rewarded from learning from others who have taken steps to develop a small business. To top it off, learning how to run a small business can set you on the path to financial freedom, which will further protect your investments and your financial well being.
To learn, simply model your success after others. Find experts in the field that you want to explore and begin learning from their successes and mistakes. In no time at all, you’ll be an expert at what you do. And as Benjamin Franklin said “If a man empties his purse into his head, no one can take it from him.”

The Biggest Secret to Success Online No One Wants to Talk About
The Fate Of Your Internet Business Depend On Your Work Ethic?
I am often asked the question does the fate of your internet business depend on your work ethic and I have to say that the answer is a very solid yes. Of course. Absolutely!
You see the secret to success online is putting in some hard work at least at the start. The sales pages that promote the ability to earn millions whilst sitting on the beach sipping margaritas are very similar to the lottery dream. Yes it could happen but the chances of it happening to you if you sit back and wait for success are miniscule.
The first key to making money online is to run your internet business just like you would an offline business. The people who succeed are those that approach this as a business and not a hobby. In addition to believing they will be successful, they have put a business plan in place.
Ok, with an online business you can make a lot of money without spending a fortune. You don’t need a premises, staff or stock. All you need is your brain, a computer and an internet connection.
But don’t let the fact that you do not need a lot to get started fool you. If you think working hard is logging on every day to check your emails, your statistics, the latest posts in your favorite forums, activity on MySpace or Facebook, tweeting a few messages, you are sadly mistaken. These activities have a place but should not take up more than 20% of your time online when your business is starting out. People who not yet successful online often confuse being occupied with being focused and busy.
Put a business plan in place. Decide how much you want to earn every month and work out exactly how many products/adsense clicks/cpa offers you need to fulfil in order to achieve that. Then work out how you are going to promote your links and get visitors to see your offers.
If you need 40 sales to meet your income goal and one in 100 visitors buys that product then you know that you need to get at least 4000 unique visitors to your link every month. How many Pay per click adverts will you need to post at what cost? If you are writing articles, how many articles will you have to post to the directories to get this level of traffic. Test, track and test again so that you can see what is working and what isn’t.
All successful internet business owners work very hard in the beginning to set up their systems to make the level of income they want. They know that once a system works and is profitable they can replicate it. They can outsource the article writing, blog posting, site maintenance etc. In fact, they could outsource most of their business tasks and use their time to concentrate on the overall growth and progression of their internet business.
Develop a strong work ethic from the beginning, reinvest your profits into your business (pay for outsourcing and tools) and once the dollars start flowing into your bank account, you can then spend more of your time sitting on the beach sipping margaritas!

How To Start A Money Making Business In 30 minutes or Less
Starting a money making business is a lot easier than you think. With an affiliate marketing business you don’t have to have a product or a service to offer. You make money by sending traffic to someone else’s product or service. Each time someone purchases after following your affiliate link, you get paid. Affiliate marketing is a simple and profitable business that can be set up in less than 30 minutes.
Affiliate marketing is an agreement between you and a product or service creator. You agree to send traffic to the website of the product or service and the creator agrees to pay you when someone purchases. You’ll normally receive a percentage of a sales price or a flat rate.
There are affiliate programs available for almost every product or service under the sun. You can either find affiliate programs through an affiliate network like Clickbank (www.clickbank.com) or by contacting manufacturers directly. Most new affiliate marketers like to work with affiliate networks because they have clear payment terms and a stable of products and services to choose from. In addition to Clickbank, you can find affiliate products at Paydotcom (www.paydotcom.com) and Commission Junction (www.cj.com). Ebay (www.ebay.com) and Amazon (www.amazon.com) also have affiliate programs that you can earn with.
Let me show you an example of affiliate marketing. You start a blog about golf techniques and post weekly about how to shave points off of your score. You recommend using a certain type of golf club and have a link from the name of the club to Amazon.com where the club is for sale. If the readers of the blog click on the link and buy the clubs, you’ll earn a commission. Alternatively, you can link from your blog to an ebook on improving your golf game that is sold through Clickbank.
The best part about affiliate marketing is that you don’t have to worry about making the sales pitch or handling delivery of the product. You direct the traffic and earn a commission when a sale is made. You are just in charge of choosing the affiliate program and sending the traffic to the vendor’s website.
Getting started with affiliate marketing is as simple as choosing the program you want to promote. You can either find a niche market first and then pick a product, or find a product and figure out whether or not it will be profitable. Using keyword research tools you can come up with terms that are popular and that are related to the affiliate product. By using these terms on your website or in your articles, you can attract people who are looking for the type of product you are promoting.
It can take you less than 30 minutes to find a product and set up a simple blog. With just a few posts, you’ll start attracting attention from the search engines and visitors will come to your blog and, in turn, your affiliate links. It can’t get any easier than that!
If you’re ready to see a detailed version of this plan, Affliatenaire will teach you all you need to know in 3 to 4 hours per week.
What is blogging for dollars?
Blogging is a form of making money online that has grown by leaps and bounds in the last few years. If you’re trying to make money online, blogging is a great way to do it. If you don’t know what to do in order to create a money making blog, here are some simple steps that you can take to start a stream of income online.
Blogging is one of the most popular ways to make online for several different reasons. First of all, blogs are very easy to begin. You don’t have to know any fancy HTML codes or complicated technical processes to get your blog started. With just a few simple set up steps, you’ll have your own blog that you can use to make money.
Blogs also have an advantage over other types of websites because they are updated continuously. This updating makes blogs much more valuable from the perspective of search engines. Since you update your blog each day or each week, eventually you’ll outrank other static websites on the same topic.
Blogging is also interactive. Visitors to your blog can comment on your posts and participate in the content. Overtime you can build a community on you site and build credibility within your niche. The potential for blogs are incredible!
The most important part of blogging for dollars is finding your monetization methods. Monetization is a word for adding money making elements to your website. There are dozens of ways to monetize a site. You can add contextual advertising blocks to your website that will display ads on your website independent of your interference. You’ll earn anywhere from a few cents to a few dollars each time someone clicks on those links.
Another way to monetize your blog is to create and sell your own information product. A short report or long ebook can be sold in the margins of your blog. You can use your blog posts to promote your product and set up electronic delivery. You’ll keep 100% of the profits from your ebook, but you’ll also have to spend time and energy to get the product created.
One of the easiest and most profitable ways to make money online with your blog is through affiliate marketing. It has all of the ease of placing contextual ads on your blog with a much higher payout. It has all of the benefits of selling an information product without actually having to create the product yourself. You can select from a wide variety of affiliate products on Clickbank.com, Paydotcom.com or CJ.com. You can even link to physical products being sold on Amazon or eBay and earn commission from their sale.
Once you’ve decided on your blog’s topic and have discovered which keywords will bring traffic to your site, you can post daily or weekly on the topic. Insert your affiliate link throughout your blog posts or use block ads in the margins of your blog layout. With insightful posts and well placed links you can expect to make money with blogging in no time at all.

You’ll be happy to know that it can take as little as three to four hours per week to start and maintain your own online business.
An online business can take many different forms. There are people who make their own products and sell them online. Once you figure out your niche, you can visit one of the many affiliate networks (like Clickbank.com) and get an affiliate code. Place this affiliate code throughout your blog. Be sure to link to the affiliate product or service at least once per post.
After you’ve developed your affiliate website, you can start driving traffic to this website. Getting People to Buy from Your Affiliate Link Instead of Others
There’s a bit of competition out there when it comes to affiliate marketing. If you are promoting a popular program, you can be sure that you will face some competition out there. How can you be sure that your website traffic or list members will purchase through your affiliate link? The answer lies in incentives.
Customer incentives are free gifts that you can use to get your list to buy through your affiliate link. If you’ve ever been on a few different Internet marketing lists during a large product launch you’ve probably seen this concept in action. Internet marketing list owners will often give away large bonuses (sometimes free versions of their own products) in order to get people to order through their link.
You can do the same no matter what niche you are in. Affiliate incentives work well when you have already built a rapport with your audience through your list. Just create a solo mailing to your list that details the benefits of the affiliate product and share your special incentive when people order through your link. However, it can also work on your website or blog. You can put the same information used in your solo list on a mini-sales page on your site to direct traffic to your affiliate link.
What should you use as an affiliate incentive product? You have many different options, but as long as you follow these rules you can use whatever you like.
1. Be sure that the incentive is closely related to your main product.
Don’t just throw together any old product and think that it will encourage your list members or website visitors to buy your recommended product. The incentive has to be related to the product. If you are recommending a product on quick gardening methods you can offer your list an incentive product that lists the best places to buy high quality seeds online.
2. Be sure that the incentive has actual value.
An incentive should ideally be something that your customer would buy anyway but they’ll get it for free when they purchase your recommendation. You should look for other similar products in your niche to determine how much your incentive is worth. In your solo ad or your sales page you should let them know how much this gift is worth so they can realize the value.
3. Be clear about how the person will receive the bonus.
List members or visitors to your website want to know exactly how they will get their bonus. Be sure to give them clear instructions. Maybe there will be an optin list that they will need to join after purchase. Maybe you’ll be able to track their progress with your affiliate sales. Maybe they’ll need to send you a copy of their receipt in order to receive the incentive. No matter what the process is, be clear about it so the buyer can be comfortable knowing that they will get their incentive.
Affiliate incentives can take many different forms, from special reports to ebooks to free coaching. When you use them you can be sure that people will buy from your affiliate link instead of others.

3 Simple Ways to Make More Affiliate Cash with Less Work
Affiliate marketing is one of the best ways to make money online. Affiliates don’t have to worry about product creation or writing a sales letter. When you are an affiliate you just drive traffic to your affiliate link and sit back and collect the commissions.
Once I learned about affiliate marketing, I knew it was the business model for me! However, after spending a few weeks getting to know the basics I realized that there was a hard way and an easy way to be an affiliate. Here are three simple ways to increase your affiliate commissions while also working less.
1. Residual affiliate programs
Which sounds better to you? Developing a traffic building campaign to your affiliate link and making the sale once or developing the same amount of traffic and getting paid each and every month? Of course, the second situation definitely makes much more sense! With residual affiliate commissions you can make money over and over again from just one sale.
You can find residual affiliate commission programs from many sources including membership sites. When you become an affiliate for a membership site you can get commissions each and every month as long as the member stays subscribed.
2. Build a list
Many affiliate marketers simply send their referrals through their link without capturing their e-mail addresses. If you want to build a long term affiliate business you need a build a list from your prospects. Even if the referral doesn’t buy through your affiliate link you can market to them later down the road with additional affiliate offers.
Building a list is simple. Instead of referring your traffic directly to the affiliate offer page, you can direct them to your own landing page. Give away a free report or offer a free ecourse in order to encourage your visitors to opt in. Once they have signed up for your list, you can direct them to your affiliate link. You can also market different products, which can increase your overall commissions.
3. Develop a short product with your affiliate link imbedded
Have you ever gotten a free product that was chock full of information but it also included affiliate links? You can do the same in your niche and create a viral ebook that will distribute your affiliate link all over the Internet. You can sell giveaway rights to the book, or just include giveaway rights to anyone who downloads your ebook.
The key to making this strategy work is to find a hard hitting topic that will attract attention. Offer three to five unique tips on your topic that will inspire or inform your niche. You can upload the book to your website, give it to your list with resale rights and distribute it in giveaway directories. You can also upload the PDF to Scribd.com. Within just a matter of time your report will be widely distributed along with your link.
These three ideas just scratch the surface on how you can multiply your affiliate earnings. For more tips on successful affiliate marketing, visit http://www.ebizsnap.com.
How to Increase Your Affiliate Income in One Easy Step
After you get started in affiliate marketing you’ll begin to look for ways to increase your income. If you can make more money from your campaigns for the same amount of work, why wouldn’t you? There’s a simple step you can take to boost your commissions that is easy to implement and will have a big impact on how much money you make. It’s called affiliate link cloaking.
Affiliate link cloaking is a process that you can use to make sure that your recommendations are using your affiliate link. Without your affiliate link, you won’t get credit for your recommendation and you won’t see your commissions roll in. You see, affiliate links have a specific look to them. For example, http://www.moneyebook.com/=?superaff is an affiliate link. The id after the “?” is the affiliate id.
If someone is familiar with the way an affiliate link is set up, they may try to bypass the affiliate link by deleting the id after the question mark. There are many reasons why this happens. Some people just don’t feel comfortable with affiliate marketing, or they don’t want to give an affiliate their commissions. In some cases, they may try to use their own affiliate link. This is commission theft no matter how you look at it.
Whatever the reasons are, you can bypass commission theft by using an affiliate link cloaker. A cloaker will change the ugly looking affiliate link (http://www.moneyebook.com/=?superaff) and turns it into a nice unchangeable link. This way your link will look like http://www.tinyurl.com/gpto or http://www.ebizsnap.com/recommends/moneyebook.
There are many different ways that you can cloak an affiliate link in order to keep more of your commissions. If you want a simple way to cloak your affiliate link without having to install anything in your domain, you can use one of the many url minimizers available for free online. Tinyurl (http://www.tinyurl.com) and Bitly (http://www.bit.ly) will take your affiliate link and give it a short redirect link.
The only downside to this method is that once the person arrives on your affiliate link, the affiliate URL will show up in the header of the browser window. Although this a quick method to cloak your affiliate links, it can still be altered once the person arrives at the landing page. Since they can see your full affiliate link in the browser window, they can still delete your id if you really wanted to.
A much better method to cloaking your affiliate link is to create a page redirect within a domain that you own. You can either edit the htaccess file of your domain or you can create a php redirect. Alternatively, you can also use the simple instructions located here:
http://www.jamesshuggins.com/h/web1/affiliate_link_cloaker.htm
This page has step by step instructions on how to create a new page in your domain that cannot be edited. I suggest that you put all of your links in a folder entitled “recommends”. This way each link will be structured http://www.ebizsnap.com/recommends/affiliatemarketingcourse.
With affiliate link cloaking you can be sure that your affiliate commissions are going where they should be…to your account!
