Starting a Home Business: Confidence is Key

Starting your own business and breaking away from the pack is something that is not for the faint of heart. You need to be sure that you have the confidence and the dedication to see your plans through. Completing your reality check and coming up with a business plan can help your confidence grow. When you take a step in a new direction, you need to be sure that you’re doing so on firm ground. If you don’t have confidence in yourself and your business idea, you’re going to second guess your actions and make yourself miserable. Take whatever steps you need to in order to build your confidence so that you can run your business correctly.

Starting a Home Business A Business Plan

Knowing where you are headed is one thing. Knowing how to get there is another matter entirely. A business plan will help you understand where your business is going. Whether you are building your business part time or plan on working full time on your home business, you need to have a plan. There are many resources out there about writing a business plan. Even if you are starting a small business that doesn’t need financing, you should do market research and complete a full analysis of how your business will take shape. At the very least, create a mission statement to guide the development of your business.

Starting a Home Business: A Reality Check

The first thing you need to do before you jump off the pier into self employment is do a reality check. Can your business sustain your income? Will there be a period of adjustment between your old job and making money with your new business? If so, do you have enough money to sustain yourself and your family during this time? These are serious questions that need to be answered before you quit your day job. Most new businesses fail because people don’t think about the reality of the situation. Make sure you give yourself a reality check first. If possible, try to start your home business on the side before you make the leap.

Create a focused work environment

When you own a home based business you may think that you can work in front of the television, around family or in an otherwise noisy environment. This is a surefire way for lowering your productivity. You need to train yourself to create a focused work environment so you can complete the work that you need to get done. Set up a dedicated work space and surround yourself with the items and conditions that you feel most comfortable with. For example, some people need silence in order to get work done, while others prefer music. Set yourself up for success and you’ll be more able to work quickly and accomplish your goals.

The Easiest Way To Get Started Making Money From The Internet

What if I told you that you could start earning money today from the internet and you wouldn’t need your own website, your own product or service.  You would think I belonged in the funny farm.  But the good news is that I am 100% right.

The easiest way to make money online is via affiliate marketing.  You find a product that you would like to promote, join their affiliate program and all you have to do is send targeted visitors to their website.  When these prospects buy a product, you get paid a commission.  You can sell practically anything you like from ebooks and ecourses right through mobile phones, golf clubs, clothes, baby products etc.  The list is endless and the amount of money you can make is only limited by your dedication and perseverance.

Here is an example I use a  Mac and have used Mozy Backup for years and have recommended it for years without getting paid.  I didn’t know about affiliat marketing. Not any more!  Mozy as with almost all companies doing business online have an affiliate program.  So now I get paid every time someone signs up for Mozy though my affiliate link.  Peace of Mind – Only $4.95/Month! Get Mozy Unlimited Online Backup. That’s what I call peace of mind.

I know you are probably asking yourself if it is that easy why would people pay you some of their profit to sell their products.  It is simple math.  For example say they were selling a $100 ebook and course on golf. If they made 10 sales, they would make $1000 but they know they can only find x number of clients a day.  They decide to their affiliates $50 per sale.  If they have 50 affiliates that each sell 10 courses, they would make $25,000. The affiliates are like a huge sales force finding buyers all over the world.

Affiliate marketing is a win-win situation for both parties.  The product owner only pays his affiliates if they make a sale.  The affiliate is very happy as he doesn’t have to produce a website, a product or write a sales page.  All he has to do is drum up a crowd to visit the product website.    The more people he sends, the more money he will make.

As you can pick the product you want to market, all you need to do is find a starving crowd to sell to.  You want a group of people who are either desperate or in pain as both of these groups will spend cash to resolve their situation.  Find a product with a decent sales page (tip:  if reading it would make you buy it, you are onto a good thing!), send the visitor to this page and watch the dollars flow into your bank account.

I know – now you are wondering how will you find these visitors and advertise the sales-page?.  There are a number of ways to attract these credit card holding buyers.  You can try free ways such as article marketing, forum marketing, blog postings etc.  You can try placing paid ads on search engines like Google, ads in ezines or on social network sites such as Facebook.  If you are handy with video you can post your videos for free on Youtube and other video sharing websites.  There are any number of ways you can use to start sending traffic to the product owners site.

See the truth is your earnings really are limited only by your imagination and commitment.  You can get started the same way I did with Affiliatenaire!  This online course is a weekly lesson that will take about 3-4 hours a week to complete.  The lessons are excellent everything is explained if great detail.  This is not a get rich quick scheme, but the real deal.  Or sign up for a free News Letter eBiz Snap. Each issue is devoted to building your online business success.

Why I Love Affiliate Marketing – Part 1

NOTE: The following is a guest post from one of my favorite
internet marketing mentors.

Why I Love Affiliate Marketing – Part 1
By Jimmy D. Brown of “Affiliatenaire”

Do you find yourself “starting” to create your own product
to sell online, but never “finishing” it?

One of the things I love about affiliate marketing is –

** You don’t need to create your own products **

Many people find the idea of creating their own products to
be an overwhelming and even paralyzing task.

* I don’t have any good ideas!
* I’m not a writer!
* There’s too much competition!
* I don’t know how to set everything up!
* I can’t figure out where to start!
* It’s too hard!

These are just a few of the valid reasons many people give
when it comes to not creating their own products to sell.
I’m sure with a few minutes of brainstorming, we could come
up with a list of many more.

With affiliate marketing, you don’t need your own products.
You simply promote someone else’s already proven successful
offer for a commission.

And, truth be told, even if you ARE a writer and you DO have
lots of ideas and you CAN figure it all out…

** Nobody wants to create new products all the time **

As good as you may be, you don’t know everything! Why try
to create a product on every topic imaginable in your
market when you can earn just as much money by simply
promoting someone else’s really good offer as one of your
profit streams?

That’s why I love affiliate marketing.

You don’t need to create your own products.
